"Apart from it been a good hotel what stood out for me was the friendliest and welcoming staff from the management to the cleaners they were absolutely brilliant, Jacinta,Hilda,Mekane,Christine,Rose, Yvonne and Alphonse the security guy all amazing,thank you all I'll will miss your warm friendship, the Mavvel is a excellent hotel be it for business or a tourist like me i really do highly recommend a stay here, oh and great breakfast, restaurant and bar and hope to visit again when in Embu, thanks...

"We had a wonderful stay. The staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I especially loved having the fireplace lit in the room it made everything feel cozy and relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious as well. "I like the fact that it's close to the river which had a spectacular sight. What I did not like is the fact that Expedia did not pay for my booking despite getting the payment from me. Very bad manners from an organisation. I would not recommend anyone to book for their stay via Expedia .com."
